Dear readers,
I am pleased to introduce the "Music Game" app, a sequel to my previous work. In this latest version, the focus is on mastering double-stop notes in just intonation.

The app presents users with the challenge of matching two sounds played simultaneously, all while adhering to the principles of just intonation. For instance, when matching the major third interval between "do" and "mi," there is a difference of four semitones in equal temperament, resulting in an interval of 400 cents. However, in just intonation, "mi" has a frequency ratio of 5/4 to "do," which calculates to an interval of approximately 386.3 cents (based on the formula (1200 x log2 (fE / fC)). As a result, in order to achieve the desired sound on the piano (in equal temperament), one must aim for a minor interval of approximately -14 cents. Therefore, it is advisable to use the piano sound as a reference while adjusting the tone of your instrument by ear. A crucial technique is to adjust until you find the position where the beats are eliminated, resulting in a clear sound - this position signifies the attainment of a just interval.

※Please note that the chords' reference tone in this app is set at A=442 Hz.
